I love Sour Cream and Cheddar flavoured potato chips! I thought these flavours would be outstanding as a combination in a refreshing dip. It turned out great with tasty Milton's GF crackers (shown in picture). And it's so easy!
Ingredients
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tsp onion powder or garlic
1/4 tsp paprika
1 tsp Lawry's seasoning
2 tbsp scallions, minced
1 tsp Worcestershire
2 oz blue cheese, crumbled or Parmesan, grated
5-6 tbsp cheddar cheese powder
tt freshly grated cheddar (optional)
tt salt and pepper
Instructions
Read Susie's Tips and Tricks below
1. In a bowl with a lid, place sour cream, mayonnaise, onion powder, paprika, and seasoning salt together. Add green onions, Worcestershire, cheeses, salt and pepper, then mix together gently.
2. Place in fridge for flavours to marry for an hour or two. Adjust seasoning once more as necessary with the help of a chip.
Susie's Tips and Tricks
You may adjust the ratio of sour cream to mayonnaise if desired.
Be cautious with salt; cheese has sodium and so does Worcestershire and seasoning salt.
Choose cheeses that are strong in flavour. You could use 100% cheddar if desired.
I have used Greek yogurt with mayonnaise instead.
